Microsoft Lync 2010 Ignite Boot Camp

The Microsoft’s Lync Server Ignite is a 4-day condensed technical workshop (originally 5 days) for IT, Networking, and Telecommunication professionals who are proactively delivering Voice over IP solutions to their customers.

This Lync Server Voice Ignite workshop was created for technical professionals who are mobilizing to deliver Microsoft Voice over IP solutions to customers, and are upgrading their installed Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007 systems. All delegates should have a working knowledge of: Microsoft Windows Server and preferably OCS 2007 or OCS 2007 R2.

Subject

The Lync Server Ignite workshop introduces the features and capabilities of Microsoft Lync Server, including Presence, Instant Messaging and Conferencing. Attendees will deploy an Lync Server through to enabling users and clients, and including the configuration of some advanced features and PowerShell Cmdlets.

Participate to qualify for the voice specialized partner program

The Voice specialization within the Microsoft Unified Communications Solutions competency enables you to distinguish your expertise in planning and implementing Voice over IP (VoIP), unified messaging, and conferencing solutions using Microsoft Office Communications Server and Microsoft Exchange Server.
As a Voice Specialized Partner you must employ or contract with at least two to four people (Silver og Gold) who have each passed the Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007 R2 or Lync Server 2010 exams including the UC Voice Specialization exam. We have a special offer for our public Boot Camp in May which is € 1.700 or DKK 12.500 for all 4 days (including lunch and refreshments at the training facility). All prices are VAT exclusive and subject to "Terms and Conditions for Workshops with labs".

When and where

The Lync Ignite Boot Camps can be held (almost) anywhere in the world, as we have a complete lab setup (Portables with 16 GB RAM each, RAID-0 disks, telephony equipment etc.), packed in flight cases and ready to come to your preferred training location.

Public training

The next public Lync Ignite Boot Camp takes place from Tuesday May 24th to Friday May 27th in Denmark, Norresundby (Inceptio, Strommen 6, 9400 Norresundby, Denmark)

Logistics

Travelling by air is easy, just search for Aalborg (AAL), the following direct flights are available:

Copenhagen (CPH) - Bihourly flights (or more) operated by SAS, Norwegian, Cimber
Amsterdam/Schiphol (AMS) - 2-3 daily flights operated by KLM
London (LGW) - 2-3 weekly flights by Norwegian
Oslo - 2-3 daily flights operated by Norwegian

A good range of hotels are available, we recommend to stay at the city center in Aalborg where there's a huge range of restaurants, entertainment and shopping and good connections by public transport to the training facility (Approx 10 minutes by bus).
